We’d like to introduce one of our Blue Assist mentors, Dr. Brian Gaudreault. As a Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Clear Blue Smiles, he has been instrumental in developing Blue Assist. Blue Assist is a peer-to-peer mentorship program with the goal of instilling confidence in doctors so that they feel comfortable prescribing more clear aligner cases, thus growing revenue at their practice.
Meet Dr. Brian Gaudreault
As one of Blue Assist mentors, Dr. Gaudreault will conduct video conference calls with dentists and orthodontists guiding them through an entire clear aligner case.
Dr. Gaudreault attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated summa cum laude (2nd overall) and received his certificate in orthodontics. He completed his general practice residency at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He performed his rotations at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
In addition to his role at Clear Blue Smiles, Dr. Gaudreault founded Southeast Orthodontics, where he still practices. He is also a founding partner at the North American Dental Group (NADG), where he was recognized as their ‘Teacher of the Year’ in 2022. Additionally, he serves as a clinical advisory board and faculty member at SureSmile® , a division of Dentsply Sirona.
In his practice, Dr. Gaudreault strives to provide the best possible treatment in a friendly, comfortable environment. This will also translate to how he will mentor peers in the Blue Assist program.
“I have a passion for collaborating and sharing what I’ve learned with others. The modalities I’ve developed, and shared with others, have already helped over 100 doctors start their clear aligner business,” said Dr. Gaudreault. “In one particular instance, I worked with a doctor to start a clear aligner program at his practice and within 9 months he had 131 cases and doubled his practice revenue.”
About Blue Assist
Blue Assist, a peer-to-peer mentoring program, is the first of several treatment programs from Clear Blue Smiles. Blue Assist pairs doctors with a SureSmile® expert orthodontist to consult on a clear aligner case. Each consultation includes a series of four video conference calls designed to review all aspects of a clear aligner case. The doctor and mentor will partner throughout the lifecycle of the patient’s case to review everything from the diagnosis and treatment plan, to the refinement and retainer recommendation.
With the clear aligner market predicted to grow nearly 30% from 2022 to 2023, Clear Blue Smiles saw the need to create programs that keep the expertise at the forefront of treatment. Their mission is to bridge the gap between convenience and quality in the clear aligner market. Blue Assist is the first in their series of programs to launch, and is currently available to doctors in the Northeast.
